EMB-CALABARZON In Action
EMB Region IV-CALABARZON posted significant accomplishments in implementing the various programs and projects of the bureau during the first semester of CY 2003.
Activities under the key result areas that support all the basic environmental laws were fervently pursued by the technical and support staff both of the regional and field offices.
The priority thrusts/concerns for CY 2003 of Secretary Gozun which include among others the implementation of RA 9003 , adoption of an Ecological Waste Management Program within the DENR workplace and the testing of all DENR motor vehicles to ensure its compliance to the emission standards were all undertaken during the first half of the year under report.

The activity is part of the ECO-TOUR, conceptualized by Engr. LUCIANO G. HORNILLA OIC Regional Director of EMB CALABARZON for the culminating activity of the agency's celebration on its 16th Anniversary held at the Coca-cola Bottlers Inc. in Sta Rosa, Laguna last 27 June 2003. Participants to this ECO-TOUR are resident employees of DENR By the Bay Building in Roxas Boulevard, Manila such as DENR Region IV CALABARZON and MIMAROPA, MGB Region IV, NRDC and EMB CALABARZON and MIMAROPA
