MISSION

To restore, protect and enhance the Region’s environmental quality towards good public health, environmental integrity and economic viability by implementing its mandated functions and responsibilities through:

• Issuing appropriate authorities to projects, industries, and establishments;

• Enforcing judiciously environmental laws and regulations; and

• Providing information and technical assistance so that clients and stakeholders can make informed

  decisions regarding environmental concerns.
