A series of public consultations
for the Elaboration of the National Solid Waste Management Strategy (NSWM Strategy)
will be conducted on the month of October.
The NSWM Strategy is foreseen to serve as a roadmap for the implementing bodies
to provide clear direction with well defined steps in achieving goals.
Participants for the consultations shall include, among others, local government
units (representatives from the provinces, cities, municipalities and barangays),
representatives from the academe, private sector and civil societies/NGOs.
The consultation shall be conducted on the following dates and venue:
